Thought it was a really strong opening night
Mika was everywhere. Last season to start he had trouble with timing, especially the one timer. He looks ready to get 50 this year
Jones looked really solid. In fact that pair had a nice game together. Hope it continues.
Love that Gallant put the kid like back together for a shift at the end of the game. As usual they held the puck in the other end for a minute.
It’s nice knowing that when it becomes crunch time you can breathe a little easier putting the Panarin line out because Trocheck does a great job controlling the middle of the ice defensively.
Igor won the goaltending battle but man is Andrei good.
Kravstov was so fast out there he was invisible. What was the injury? Seemed long neck got exposed immediately? All jokes aside, hope it’s nothing serious and he’s back quickly, that’s a tough break. But Lafreniere looked pretty good there even though it’s obvious the right side isn’t his favorite.
Fox looked foxly.
If Kravstov is out for a bit who’s the first call up? Rydahl?
