Random Playoff Predictions

What are your random predictions for the postseason? They could be super specific, vague, weird, normal, etc. Figured we could have some fun with this and see if any of us can actually guess something dumb like that Matt Bartkowski thing many years ago.

- The first playoff Michigan/lacrosse goal will be scored in these playoffs. It'll be in round 2 by a player on the Caps.
- A Florida Panther gets a penalty for eye-gouging in one of their series.
- Toronto scores a shorthanded goal to beat the Sens in game 4 overtime
- Pontus Holmberg scores a highlight reel goal on home ice for some reason
- Jake Walman face plants while trying to take a slapshot
- Ryan Hartman has Minnesota take a Too Many Men penalty because he fell over the bench trying to chirp someone
- Jordan Binnington has a horrible puck playing gaffe at a crucial point of a playoff game against the Jets
- Dawson Mercer gets a misconduct for refusing to change a non-regulated piece of protective equipment

It is entirely possible to see Oilers vs Jets in the western conference final this year. Jets won the Presidents Trophy and have the best goalie in the league. Oilers were so close last year from winning the whole damn thing. They have McDrai. Enough said.

People are very enamored with Vegas, Avs and Stars. Rightfully so. Very good teams in west. But, I wouldn't be surprised to see an all Canadian western final.

Leafs could make the Eastern Conference final no doubt. I think the Sens will take them, but that is out of pure hatred. The law of averages kicks in for the Leafs.....and they gotta at some point of a run. But, Im never surprised when they choke. They also have to run through Tampa and Florida. Like the three 'other' teams I mentioned in the west. The two florida teams are seasoned and very deep.

Habs - well....my team. Let's just say my expectations are that this will be an amazing experience for the young club. That is about it. Making the 2nd round and god willing the 3rd round would be a bonus beyond expectations. But.....its the Stanley Cup playoffs and anything can happen.
