All of the pictures of Milano feature her in the green and red color scheme jerseys. They have been color corrected to black, but if you look at the style of the uniform and the shoulder yokes, those are the green white and red uniforms. When they switched to black, they changed the uniform design and removed the trim and they also changed the typeface for the numbers on the sleeves and back.

That doesn't look color corrected to me. He's clearly wearing green pants. The shoulder yoke looks dark but the low quality of the image is what I would blame for that.

I couldn't find many pictures, but John Candy rocked hockey jerseys in public often, years before Myers did. I even recall him in an interview one time saying that he tried to sneak Hawks memorabilia (like the jersey above, which was his idea) into his movies as much as possible. Also recall him later in the Gretzky Kings era sitting with Bruce McNall in a Kings jersey.
