Raleigh and the Triangle - A Visitor's and Local's Guide Pt. 2

Oilers fan in peace (and Canadian transplant to NC), looking to attend the game against Edmonton on March 1.

Where's the best free or reasonable parking by Lenovo Center? I used to park in the James B Hunt Horse Complex by the NC State pedestrian tunnel, but that's been blocked off by the big bad "no Lenovo Center parking" sandwich boards, and I really don't want to get nailed for a $40 parking hit in the main lot. Thanks in advance!

At one time the office building parking lots on Westchase Blvd were an option. Might still be?

So, going past it off Trinity on the way in last game I didn't notice any parking at the business park (but didn't see if it was closed off either) but right by Bojangles there was $10 parking for the game.

The iconic 42nd St Oyster Bar is closing on March 30th :( Get your last orders in.

That really sucks. I've eaten there before, it was several years ago but it was delicious. The place dates back to 1930 when it opened as a fish market.

Same thing happened in Charlotte to one of my favorite restaurants, Harper's. Torn down because Chase Bank needed the space

Devils fan coming in peace…looking to plan a boys trip down there. Any hotels in walking distance to the Lenovo where I won’t get shived in the lobby or solicited by a prostitute?

Thanks in advance and good luck in round one…we’re going to need it🤣🤣
