My first thought when I was thinking of QB options. Although, as a 49er fan, I was hoping they would pay Darnold a lot of money.I know a soon to be free agent 5 Star Chef who would be a great fit behind center for them
If you are a coveted HC prospect why join LV now? Reid, Payton, Harbaugh along with their QBs are in the division. LV has no QB.Wow. A true shocker for me. Couldn't believe it when I first saw it and had to double check to see if it was in fact the legit ESPN account tweeting it out and not a fake.
Now speculation about a reunion with Russ as the stop gap QB? What the hell is going on in Vegas?
All that said, Pete is someone who can probably steady things a bit after the disastrous McDaniels and Pierce stints.
It's not surprising for Raiders fans partly because it's been heavily rumoured all week. Plus, who else would be a better hire right now? I maybe would've preferred Glenn or Johnson but not by much and they didn't want the job. As far as Wilson goes, he's still way better than Minshew or O'Connell and I'd rather bring him on than overpay Darnold. A trade for Joe Milton is my preferred option but doubt that happens.Wow. Pete is a take care of the ball type of HC. So, he's not looking to add a gunslinger. See what the options are for him and LV.It's not surprising for Raiders fans partly because it's been heavily rumoured all week. Plus, who else would be a better hire right now? I think they'd do that if he came in at around the Baker Mayfield contract at $100 mill over 3 years with $65 mill guaranteed or like Carr ($160 mill over 4, but only $70 mill guaranteed something) (basically 2 year deals).Could they be desperate enough to put money on the table for Darnold?
