Aho and Svech are supposed to be our star players, but their goal droughts happening at the same time just shows how much the team relies on them.

Lately we have been going through the biggest funk of the year. I wouldn't necessarily say we are playing bad, but its not good enough, and its raised a few red flags about our realistic chances of coming out of the East.

And thats before we look at what basically every other contender has already done to load up.

We are in a prime position to contend. Going out and getting offensive reinforcements would give the guys renewed morale. Thats why all the other teams regularly do it, including tampa.

If any management group judges their team solely on the most recent five game stretch, they are a failure. They should have had a plan based on the totality of the season.
