Radical changes

Why do some people pencil Domi in as a centre of his own line? IMHO, Domi was re-signed to play with Matthews. Nothing more to it than that.

* Marner as a C with 2 scoring wingers would be lethal, more ice for Mitch to work his magic. An adjustment yes but skilled enough defensively to do so, though he would need some work on his faceoffs. Mitch is that good with Matthews, Marner & Tavares as your top 3 centers certainly comparable to Edmonton with McDavid, Draisaitl & Henrique or Florida with Barkovs, Bennett & Lundell.

That’s a thin D… Timmins isn’t ready for a full time role and what happens when anyone missed time?

And if anyone is moving to C it’s Willy. Alex on line 2? Knies on his off wing? Which D pairing is facing the other teams top lines? OEL or Liljegren? Lol

That lineup misses the playoffs easily.

Red went from defence (where he won four Cups) to forward (where he won four more as a shutdown player).

The mental image of Marner trying to stop Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, or Maurice Richard is hysterical.

oh yeah,now that Nylander had his best year, it's time he caries Mitch for a while.

Cool. Can we radically move Mitch who by the way is unable to win a faceoff, to Utah? He can't shoot, he can't draw and let's face it, his defensive abilities are best used on paper. In reality, our PK sucks ass, despite the Mitch elite narrative. Mitch is also unable to defend anyone when it matters

Small sample size would suggest that he would be a good winger for Matty. I think Domi struggled as a center last season.

The thought that we need to move our best LD to wing to help our forward group is an inditement that our forward group is weak after the big 3. The more I look at the D, the more I think that we have spent our UFA dollars on LTIR space. We need a young controllable quality contracts on D.

Yet he continues to score at a career pace close to 30 goals a year, has been in the top quartile for Selke nominees, + has received Selke votes six years in a row... PP sucks? Top 7 in Team PP in 2023-24, one might start to think you dont have the first clue about hockey. If all you got is lies and gaslighting, your 2024 angry mob tour is running out of gas.

Why don't you move W. Nylander to goalie? That way you could weaken our F, D and G, and not just our F and D?

Our shit ass PP and PK were huge reasons we lost against Boston this year and seems to let us down every postseason for that matter.

I remember when our PP was trash this year during the reg season and Marner was injured, the fanboys were out with full bravado proclaiming it was clear Mitch would fix it when he came back. Then he came back and it was still a steaming pile of shit for the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs lol.

Sometimes I wonder if you Marner enthusiasts even watch the games or just look up stats like “selke vote tallies”

Slight oops. He said PK, which was 23rd, not PP.
