We got 1 for 7 million waiting in the wings. (With a f***ed up knee but those are tiny details)Now just need to find a PPG, defensive monster winger for 6 mill a year and we’ll be fine…..
This year is so much worse. We actually spent at the TDL.So that's two Cup runs that he's single-handedly shot in the head. What a f***ing disappointment.
From hero to zero.Well guys it was a fun ride. F*** this season and big F U to Nichuskin. Never want to see him on the team ever again.
They can be terminated at any time... the NHLPA will appeal and there will be a settlement. Can contracts be terminated while a player is suspended or in the player assistance program?
Do the Avs have the right to terminate the contract? Judging by the press release about the Player Assistance program, this seems to be a collectively bargained aspect, no? If (and it's a huge if knowing how addiction works) Val gets through the six months of the Player Assistance program in good standing, wouldn't the original team need to continue to honor the contract? If he's out for the issues again... it has to be bad. This is a huge if, but this would merit a termination. Let the dust settle, but you can't have Nuke out for off the ice issues constantly. No matter how good he is.
They do have the right as even if he's in assistance, drug use is a part of the moral clauses in the contract.... but what will happen is the NHLPA will appeal and then a settlement will be worked out. Avs will pay less and take some cap hit... but what would be is TBD and upto a mediator.Do the Avs have the right to terminate the contract?
