Lol at the time, the Nuke contract was great. The Avs just didnt account for the fact that he'd become a raging drug addict as soon as the ink dried.

I've been a pretty staunch Rants supporter but I'm near my wit's end with him as well.

Wouldn't complain if he got traded for a haul this summer. I do think players like Rants are rare, but if he can't even show up for one game in the playoffs now it ain't going to be any better after his last big paycheque.
