ugh.

Rather have Jost than rolslovic when we cant control matchups. But Jankowski is the preferred here
Yeah, that's what Adam Gold said and I think I agree. On the road they'll try to put PLD, McMichael, Protas, Ovechkin, and co against our 4th line. Doubly so if Roslovic is on the ice. Roslo generates chances, but so does everyone else on our team. If they aren't going in, I'd much rather have Jost. In the last 44 games of the regular season, Rolsovic had 5 goals (and 9 assists). Roslovic is the only forward on our team who is a legitimate liability defensively.

Jost plays well defensively and had some chemistry the other 4th liners. I'm sure he'll play a strong game if Brind'Amour puts him in whereas Roslo is a 50/50 for me of being good offensively or getting burned for odd man rushes against.

Big game tonight, but no pressure on the Canes. If the Hurricanes score first it will be huge. I don't imagine they'll dominate the first territorially like in game 1. I expect the Caps to come out with a huge pushback. One wild fact about game 1 is the Hurricanes led Washington in hits 39-22. How is that even possible? We had the puck like 65% of the game, but we took 64% of the hits. I'd expect Washington to hit everyone in game 2, especially the first period.

Is there no FanDuel coverage of round 2? I thought last year they got to do the first 2 rounds.
No, just first.

What makes it worse is that unlike other FanDuel/cable channels, FDSouth does not broadcast a pre- or post-game show for the Canes.

Canada: teams have always had both.

USA: Remaining teams - Cats (they have had both for years), Caps, Stars, Golden Knights all have pre- and post-game shows whereas only the Canes have nothing (my wife said that WRAL may be broadcasting a post game but I don't see it on my guide).

Quite frankly, it's a bad look for Dundon and his Management that they can't get FDSouth to offer one for the Canes too (even if it cost Dundon some $$$$)

At least don’t have to hear Tripp drone on about how Thompson uses a small neck guard so you want to target all shots in the space between his head and shoulder every other sentence

Ok, so you don't value our broadcasting team. You can't tell me that listening to Steve Levy, PK & Messier drone on re: Canes "shortcomings" is a good listen!

Anyway, there are many others that enjoy seeing a Cane focused discussion pre- and post game (plus focused highlights are worthwhile too).
