Break their home ice advantage, play a dominating road game and just absolutely stifle them. Caps never got out of first gear it seemed. We just dominated possession and ozone time. ~100 shot attempts!? Are you kidding me!?

That was awesome. It made me nervous we couldn’t put more in the net. Eed to stop hitting crossbars and posts and put those in the net instead

I am elated. I thought this was an incredible road effort from the team with obvious rust from the extra rest being the exception.

We play a relentless style of hockey with obvious flaws, but relentless nonetheless. That's a fun team to cheer for, in my opinion.

As frustrating as all those blocked shots and Thompson's performance were for us, Caps fans were leaving pretty shellshocked and talking about how badly they were outplayed. Got a few through, and when we dominate possession like we did and Freddie makes clutch stops like that Ovie breakaway, some are gonna go eventually.

I mean, it’s warranted. That game was playing out exactly how the Panthers series did.

I have no issue with how they played tonight or against Florida. The team has some limitations (skill). If that's what does them in, it is what it is.

Play that way consistently and it's going to take a lot to beat them.
