Canes need addition by subtraction and that IMO, is Burns. He's played well for us, but it is time with Nik in the wings. Laine is a move you make before you get fired.

Together with Aho? Could be pretty lethal and 30-40 goalscorer. But okay.

Canes have plenty of cap space to do better. Laine is not a guy that would thrive in Canes system.

Once Nikishin is on the point power play will improve significantly since teams have to value his shot. Ghost is meh.
