Twas a PK for the ages. And I don't mean Pyotr Kochetkov. Also, 7 PPGs, a perfect PK and a SHG in a 5-game series is an impressive showing for our special teams.
It’s going to suck when it falls back down to earth next round![]()
Oof yeah that’s tough. Slavin and Pesce were the two mid round steals that kicked this whole stretch off. Not sure where we’d be without their ascent to being damn good NHLers. Pesce’s a warrior. Will always be a fan.

Pesh was great but blocked shots stats against the canes have a bit of an asterisk…He had 18 blocked shots this series. Slavin (I believe) led Carolina with 7
I gave him kudos after the game for getting it together. It's still not a great performance from him. Also, it was like a joke and stuff.I mean, PK had a rough start, but he definitely bounced back. And ultimately, he got the win, which is all that matters in the playoffs.
Sounds about right. Doesn’t surprise me at all that those two are at the top for both squads. He had 18 blocked shots this series. Slavin (I believe) led Carolina with 7
