Geez... with as awful as they have been in front of kooch, I wonder what would have been different if a 6'4" 220lb dman with the nickname Boom who hits like a truck and plays very physical had been given a shot to slot in and have the energy of his first nhl game... wonder if anything would have been different? Maybe in an 11/7 situation instead of one of the forwards who have been turning the puck over constantly and letting us contested shots happen from prime spots with no coverage... or maybe would have done something to wake them up... nah...

Let's hope the team decided to get off the plane from NJ a few days late and show up for the second. So far this has been a massive waste of mo ey for my season tickets for tonight. Let's change things this period...

The TNT guys are absolutely ripping the team for an absolutely piss poor effort in the first. Basically said NJ is playing well, but we are making them look so much better
Not a single player except for Svech looked like they gave a flying f*** in the entire 1st period. Literally looked like guys playing a preseason exhibition game in Africa or some shit. Rod is gonna lay into them and I expect to see some jump. May not be enough with such a bad start and kooch still shaky but this game is far from over.

I won't deny that Pyotr hasn't been good enough, but look at the goals against this game. Two goals that came off deflections in front, and a 3rd that came off a defensive zone turnover, leaving Meier open in the slot.

Pyotr needs to step it up, but he's not the only issue tonight
Agree team has been really crap, exhibition effort from everyone not named Svetch (although he is -1 so there’s that)!

but that’s where your goalie needs to bail you out.

Anyway, it’s why I was pissed about game 3. When you have a chance to win you have to close.

Now we are heading towards a game 6 and or 7 scenario and that’s NG
