I'm at the game and I don't know how they have the lead. They were dead on arrival from puck drop

Honestly...We all feel it. This team has lost it's juice.

I just don't understand how anyone is going to be excited for next season when this team is going to be 95% the same.

I told myself when we traded for JGP (and then subsequently next year with the Palms/Zajac deals) and hemorrhaged the future for the present (which I was fine with) that this little stint of the Isles was probably going to be my last in terms of superfandom. I waited pretty much the entire 4 decades I've been on earth for the team to be somewhat good, and I got back to back EFCs, which I count as good. I felt during all the years of misery that I couldn't bail until it paid off. I was pot committed. But I can't commit that passion to another decade of misery.

Reactions: Olliemets
At the 3:39 mark Horvat made a subtle move behind the net and got it to Fasching where he makes a power move to the net and gets stopped. Holmstrom has better hands and a better finish. In 13 periods Fasching has failed to register a point. This makes jo sense. Lambert is way over his head. Give me coach Peter Laviolette.
Holmstrom has like 4 points in 50 games. Let’s take it easy here

The guy who's been fired by 5 franchises, including this one?

Why you focus on one of the few dudes making an effort and getting the puck on net is baffling.

There's about 9 other forwards who deserve your ire not named Fasching.

Well it's coming because Lou won't/can't admit what this team has become. So what can you do?

Complain about Lou? Rant about how we should be emulating TB? Use the term "assets" incessantly? Repeat the same thing over and over again? I dunno, those are a few things you can do...
Did you used to be Doshell or just stole his avatar? I can’t remember if he had this same attitude

On one hand, I'm happy that that abysmal stat of not leading after the 1st is over.

Time to come out WAY better in the 2nd.

Brendan nailed it. Don't let the score fool you. The Islanders will need to play better to win.

With a mediocre team game like this, Sorokin can steal a game against the Flyers of the world. Not against the Carolinas.
