Didn't actually watch game 6, can anyone give me the rundown of who we liked, who we didn't like, and how Hynes f***ed it up?

Kap was off, Boldy and Hartman looked good along with Faber and Spurgeon. We had our chances but couldn't finish them.

Played hard to get in the playoffs, and completely coached out of the playoffs.

Minnesota Wild: 1st team in MLB/NBA/NFL/NHL history to make the playoffs 8+ time in a 10 year span and lose in 1st round each time :(

I've noticed Hynes is a really bad coach in the playoffs. This time I'd say his worst move was that unsuccessful challenge for goalie interference, and Vegas scored on the following PP. He does make the decision in agreement with others in the coaching staff, but that's no excuse. It was a dumb move because there was little interference if any at all.

And he's just as stubborn as Evason when it comes to line combinations, didn't want to change much. But to his credit, bottom six this year are mostly AHL guys. That's on Guerin and the cap restrictions.

I felt really bad for Hynes not having his Merril safety binky the first 4 games. You could tell he was distraught and needed any excuse at all to vanquish Buium

Who just played their last game in a Wild uniform?

I know Fleury is gone. Btw...what's going on with Wallstedt? Some fans called him a bust.

I'm not updated on contracts, but I hope that nightmare called Merrill is finally over.
But maybe Guerin will re-sign him 🤣

I don't think Vegas scored on that PP.

It’s not the challenge. It’s the decision of who is playing, terrible line makeup, reluctance (or ignorance) to make in game changes that are necessary.

Buium not getting games is fireable.

Nyquist in the last 4 gms (especially game 6 after offsides and 5 horsws$&t games) is fireable.

Brazeau getting games as the slowest mf’r there has ever been is bad.

Hinostroza and Ohgren not getting games is bad.

The list goes on.

Merrill is 6'3", and can probably be signed for cheap. That's catnip for Guerin.

Taking a 2-1 series lead was indeed the high point of the season. Really f***ing hate it when our pessimism is well founded. Thanks a f***ing lot Nyquist. Thanks a lot Hynes

I should have bet my entire life on losing 4-2 at that point. It was written in stone

I don't want to boil it down to the offensive side, but playing 27 minutes per game with 0 points is not great.
I didn’t want to get called out for bias because of my username, so I felt obligated to keep Faber a bit higher in my rankings.

I do think he had a pretty mediocre playoff series, but he was solid defensively other than a couple blunders. I still believe that concussion had some lingering effects on his game where he never felt fully comfortable.

Pairing him with Buium is going to be a force to be reckoned with though. I feel like Faber is ultimately going to be a Brodin-level of defensive talent with more offensive skill. He’ll be the perfect partner for Buium to work off of.
