If he wants to play with his brothers, he can do that. He can make it known that he will sign in NJ once his contract expires. That would mean Canucks have 3 options: 1) lose him for nothing in a couple of years, 2) trade him to one of the 30 other teams as a known rental asset, or 3) trade him to NJ where he will extend long term.I love that somehow if we have to trade Hughes its going to be to NJ.
