Quiet on Isles Front (Good Thing or Bad)

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.

What will we Do with #13 & I Don't Mean Barzal ?

  • Draft at #13

  • Trade #13 for Player(s)

I like that it’s quite honestly. We need flexibility in the latest on the aisles episode Darche said it was gonna take two years for him to have some flexibility. Thank you. Start moving our contracts in the next year. I’m pregnant guys he wants.

You could drop back and accumulate picks to fill the gap but my feeling is he won’t get a legit offer for the pick and stands pat
Quality over quantity.

Not to mention, the team usually misses on 2nd round picks anyway. When was the last time the team made a 2nd round pick worth a damn? Scott Mayfield in 2010?

This statement only holds value if Darche actually doesn’t re-up every UFA-to be Lou style, namely Lee, Palms, Czikas. He already created doubt on that with JGP signing.

So his plan was to add more contracts to his already inflexible contract situation by acquiring Palat and Schenn?

He has limited to no flexibility on the defense until 3 and 4 years from now. Is he expecting Pulock, Pelech, and Mayfield to age well or something?

The plan is … bizarre, especially considering the prizes are developing like two prospects, not a preexisting pipeline.
