I am going to the 4:00 and 8:00 games on Thursday. I have heard they make you leave the arena. Do you need to leave the building? Are there restaurants in the arena? It's so cold, I'd rather eat and hang out within the arena if possible.

Thoughts?

The metro rail stops right out front and makes stops along Main Street where all the restaurants are or you can just walk over to 716 at the Harborcenter. You can get off at the Seneca, Church, or Lafayette stations and walk to most of the popular places.

Keybank Center, like most other arenas, typically usher people out after games. No reason to hang out in KBC afterwards anyways.

I also have a question, but about parking. I'll be going to two games on Thursday, and I was wondering where the best place to park is? The first game I'm going to shouldn't be very heavily attended (Finland/Denmark at 12:00).

Apologies if this is a dumb question or it's in the wrong spot, I'm just fairly new to WJC games, as I'm from out of town and the only events I ever go to at KBC are Sabres games which I'm sure will feature a lot more people than a game between two European countries at noon on a weekday.

There's plenty of parking around the arena. If you don't want to walk in the cold, you can park right under HarborCenter or even in the Key Bank Center ramp, both are attached to the arena, I'm not sure if you need special parking passes for this event but the Harbor Center will set you back a few bucks at worst. Not sure how non-Sabre games work in that respect.

Thanks for all the information, guys. I'm just looking to avoid parking, leaving, coming back, and parking again. I also don't want to be walking around too much in -10 degree weather. :-) That 716 Harbor Center sounds appealing to me.

Thanks!
