They won't open up e-tix until they've had a chance to open up public individual sales and then opened up the ticket exchange

Blah, been talking with someone I connected with on Craigslist that wants to sell me a package of 9 specific games I requested. Said he would send the etickets over immediately- clearly not possible.

You'd be surprised. If you take the proper precautions such as using PayPal and asking the right questions you'll be fine.
I have never had a problem with craigslist. Although I've definitely been put in touch with scammers, it's easy to sniff them out.

I buy and sell, there's a lot you can do for safety these days. First of all is taking a picture of the seller with your phone holding the ticket. If he refuses, there's something wrong there. Second, is with Rangers ticket exchange you can validate the barcodes right there on your phone.

I've sold hundreds of pairs through CL and never had a problem. Sure there are shady people out there...but that's still a very small percentage of the overall population.

You go through the steps to list the tickets for sale, but you never go through to the last step. When you type in the barcodes, the section, row, & seat should just pop right up if it's a legit ticket
And, what is to stop someone from selling you hard tickets, then selling someone else (or multiple people) the print-at-home tickets?

i do wish TicketExchange\TicketsNow was available already.
I use that for almost all sales, the credit goes into my MSG account and covered my playoffs and part of this year. Also much more convenient for 'day of' sales, if i decide to go alone and sell my 2d seat, or if something comes up and need to sell at last minute

Funny thing is I have people all the time asking if they can meet me somewhere to get the original hard tickets...as if that's better.

Well, if they meet you in person at least they know you're not in Nigeria
Plus, I keep stubs for games I go to so I like to have the hard tix

I get that. I always push for money via PP and to forward the tickets through my account manager. If they want the original hard copies as a keepsake I'm happy to drop those in the mail as well...with a reminder NOT to bring them to the Garden.
