You won't like them

Canada vs Czechs is 50-50
Sweden vs Latvia is 55-45 if Osmonis is back and 70-30 if he isn't
US vs Switzerland is 60-40
Slovakia vs Finland is 45-55

My predictions

I'm not.. I thought the Germans were good. They took Latvia to OT. Not much of a difference. They gave Canada a tough battle too!

I think 40% for Switzerland and 45% for Latvia is a bit much. Seems generous to me but I agree with the other two.

Canada, Finland, US & Sweden......this tournament has already seen some strange results so I think the QF normalizes. Tournament is wide open though. If Canada can stay out of the box lookout......

Well, all of these are unrealistically even - USA is like 80-20. Finland 60-40 etc. I mean Slovakia is a tough team and well capable of beating us in a single game, but we still are pretty clear favourites. I fear Canada will overcome the Czechs, Sweden will have little difficulties, USA even less and we will beat Slovakia like 3-1 in a tight game.

If the Czechs can hang with Sweden while playing like absolute idiots, they should be able to handle Canada.

Canada is legit trash. Poorly built, poorly coached
