Playing well defensively but they're having a hard time creating real chances.

That was so close.. great work on Drai too.

I think the Czechs need to 'Russia' a little and go for some individual plays... like the Kovar one. I'm not saying send in 4 guys.. but try to break that neutral zone trap with our skill players.

It's a shame one of our best goal scorers doesn't backcheck enough, cause another scorer could be useful in a 1-1 game.

Great period by German's... this is their game plan! They are doing great. We need to open it up... would like to see more from several guys.

Yeah.

The last time i drank it is acctually about 2 years ago.
But this Berlini is not that good. too sweet.

But regardless i like that drink its fresh and not to hard for a light summer evening.
Beer is great too for everything. But today she thought it would be halarious to see me on her couch wearing my coyotes jersey and drinking berlini

Alright, sounds like not something I would want to watch as a neutral. I picked the better game then.

I see it now like a 50-50 game going into third. Shame we let the game develop this way.. we are in position where we cannot actually gain anything but we can lose a lot, the players know it and aren't comfortable with this..

What we needed to happen: Use our considerable depth, open up a lead and then be smart and counter attack to get a lead going into 3rd
What Germany needed to happen: Exactly this!

Now we're 20 minutes away and they have best player and better goalie (who assisted his own goal against). 60 minute game we should win. 20 minute period?

Czechs are too passive.. really need some sort of attack to happen.. haven't seen enough of Frolik/Voracek/Simon or Kubalik!

I have seen a lot of Gulas though. Haven't seen enough of Vrana.lol

For those that were tired of me bitching about Vrana.. this was exactly what I thought would happen. 1 goal game and we benched our 2nd leading goal scorer and gave Gulas more ice time.

Throughout the first 10 min. Czechs were dominating, before the Germans started to adjust their game. From then on it was more or less an even game. The Czech coaching however didn't answer anything to the German game play adjustment - they just continued to play the same way.
