Oh yes, because when Latvia shut down the USA with Johnny Gaudreau, Patrick Kane, Alex Debrincat, and Cam Atkinson it was because the USA lacked "skilled" players. No no no, it's true. When Latvia shut down Canada with Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent Hopkins, Brayden Schenn, Jaden Schwartz, Matt Barzal and Tyson Jost it was because they lacked skilled players. And when Denmark took them on with Oliver Bjorkstrand, Frans Nielsen, Mikkel Boedker, and when Germany took them on with Leon Draisaitl and Dominik Kahun. Skill was what was lacking.

If only Elias Petterson was here, yes, everything would be different.
