Is hf boards breaking down or is my connection losing it?
No, swedish goalie was terrible on both goalsLatvia has an incredible amount of luck...
Yeah. Hope Balcers makes it onto the Sharks after training camp next year. We would love to have him in our top 9HFboards are terrible. Almost as bad as the refs.
Balcers is really good btw.
You are allowed to be in the crease and even have incidental contact with the goalie if you are playing the puck, which is what both players were doing. Not a goalie interference.
In fact, the person who knocked the puck out of Merzlikins' cover was Blugers.
So an obvious goal is disallowed because the ref blew the whistle (or intended to) while the puck was still moving over the goal line and then Sweden gets one allowed despite a rugby scrum in the crease (which TSN very carefully tried to ignore with only two looks at it both from the vantage point of Anders Nilsson) Where are the behind the net angles? I fear the fix is in...
Wait??? The word wait means to bide until a desired, intended, or anticipated event takes place. Are you trying to say there was a screen in the crease prior to the one-timer?You are not allowed to wait for the puck in the crease. Perhaps in the NHL, but not in the rest of the world.
Who said anything about penalties? The refs called off an obvious goal and then allowed one where it sure looked like there was clear goalie interference. Hard to tell when the powers that be refuse to show any kind of detailed replay. Who provides TSN with the video feed, Swedish TV?Yup, refs sure are looking for any old excuse to call penalties on Latvia. Fixed indeed.![]()
Like has already been said. There's no goalie interference if contact is incidentally initiated in the process of playing the puck...Who said anything about penalties? 3:1 goal was pretty much same, yet it was allowed.Im pretty sure that latvias 2-2 goal had been disallowed anyway! The Latvia player run into Nilsson and the puck went in, signal or not!
