According to Finnish sports journalist Sami Laine, Fin and Swe have faced eachothers 3 times in the playoff rounds in 21st century. All games have gone over 60 mins and fin leads 2-1 in wins.

Haha i bet its only in NA you can do so! in Europe you guys probably would have to be sprint champions when the other teams supporters saw you!
Our defence is brutal. And since our offence cannot score to save their life, I am afraid this will be an easy win for the Swedes.

We sat in the same seats for the Sweden Russia game....and I was proudly cheering Sweden...got to know a half dozen or so of the Swedes that were down for the tournie....
I told them I was cheering for them until they faced the Finns...their faces dropped
Today I'll be saying hello, this time with the Finland Jersey on instead of the Team Canada jersey I was wearing for the Sweden Russia game...something tells me I will not be getting high fives this game

But i will never cheer for team Canada
I think Finland can win this. How many times have we not seen that when nobody belives in them, they step up and play really solid hockey. This underdog role fits us perfect. But it will be a tough game thats for sure.

Odds are, this is exactly what it's going to look like. I hope Canadian Finn & co. enjoy a watching a hockey game even if it's a brutal, erhm... donkeyrape for the team they're cheering for.
BUt let's hope Finland gets their act together all of a sudden and surprises everyone like they have a semi-consistent tendency of doing. All it really takes is Puljujärvi getting the puck BETWEEN the pipes, darnit.
...8-2 Sweden. Hoping for 5-4 Finland (OT), but don't think it's possible with all the things that favor Sweden, those being a familiar arena, more time and better possibilities to recover/recharge, and most of all, the fact that they are and have been a much better team.

You can add me to the list of guys picking Sweden as well. For Finland to win this, they're probably going to have to score more than one goal, and that seems highly unlikely at the moment.

In Sweden all quaters except the Sweden vs Finland game will be on TV10 and viaplay(internet). The swedish game will be on SVT
Finland win 7-2. Would liked to say Puljujärvi 4-5 goals but ill say hat trick he hits the crossbar 1-2 times before unleashing the beast in 2nd and 3rd period.
