Canada was not good until the 3rd. Didn't really deserve much, but that doesn't mean the Czechs weren't diving. Clear plan to embellish tonightThats a ridiculous statement. Czechs were a bit lucky towards the end with Canada gearing up - but its a deserved win after all. They were bloody efficient and made the best out of their opportunities.
A lot of Canadians have the attitude of we are the best and as long as we show up we should win.Plenty of Canadian whining around here right now.
A penalty for what? There was no infraction, So was the elbow to the head of Mckenna and no penalty. That’s a penalty every single time based on IIHF rules
Feel bad for George. Phenomenal goalie, but his shitty entitled team and management let him down big time
Only difference between the countries is winning a Gold medal in the past 20 yearsPlenty of Canadian whining around here right now.

Also by scoring more goals.congratz cze the only reason u won this game is thanks to the refs.. hope your proud
It actually isn’t a problem. Players are allowed to try to not get hit. Penalties happen when the guys going for a hit put their legs far apart so even if they don’t connect with the body, they don’t let the guy just walk by. When that happens and you only/mainly connect with the leg, you’re rightfully getting called, whether it’s a trip or a a knee. Keep your legs tight on your hit and you’re fine.Players jumping out of the way to avoid being hit and leaving their knee out further instead of getting hit shoulder on shoulder or shoulder to chest need to stop being bailed out by these penalties. It's why they keep doing it and it's why players will turn their backs along the boards when they see someone coming to hit them. It's a problem in the NHL and every league.
go troll elsewhere clownNothing better in sports than Canada losing in Canada It’s like Christmas Day with all you can eat porterhouse steaks and cheesecake
They werent soft when McKenna's head got driven into the boards by a forearm shiver.Lmao at the incessant whining about the refs. It's the IIHF. The rules are always soft, that's never changed. Instead maybe place the blame on your own team's undisciplined players
Penalty for kneeing, and the elbow wasn’t a penalty. McKenna was already fallingA penalty for what? There was no infraction, So was the elbow to the head of Mckenna and no penalty.
Not really. They were playing solid until the third when they sat back too much trying to defend the lead.To easy, Czechs will get smoked can't dive to a title
100% on every point.I dont think a round robin can count as a bigger embarrassment than the QF.
However this team deserved this loss and all the others. They waited until the 3rd period of the QF to wake up and it was too late. and this team never gave us any "moments" The results wont be forgotten but the players will.
However, im not worried about hockey in canada as a whole. this team left 3 100 point scores at home and bedard and celebrini were still eligiable for this tournament. Circumstances are what are they though and this team massively under performed and its all on the management and coaching staff.
hey Jimmy, how do you like ____ ______?Lol. A country known for diving and whining that never really wins anything
I guess the forearm shiver from behind pushing McKennas face into the glass was a nice clean hit though eh. It has been 5 and a game all tournament except when Americans officiate Canadians gamesYou're just looking for excuses.
Gibson went knee first into his opponent...with the puck long gone. That hit was both late and dirty.
People thinking this is North American NHL reffing and not understanding what IIHF reffing isLmao at the incessant whining about the refs. It's the IIHF. The rules are always soft, that's never changed. Instead maybe place the blame on your own team's undisciplined players
