Yes because they were never going to overturn it even though they should have.Such an incredibly stupid challenge
Even if it was NHL. I don't think there was enough contact to overrule it.IIHF will always bias towards protecting the goalie. This ain't the NHL. And Cameron should know that.
If Cameron was trying to lose, would it look any different than him trying to win?is Dave Cameron stupid?
Driven into the goalie? Wow homer glasses.no doubt he was driven into the goalie though.
The one thing this tourney does is make everyone appreciate the nhl refs
Nah, the IIHF puts a lot more responsibility on the attacking player to avoid contact, so that is an easy call.Bad challenge. But Refs should have taken longer than that to confirm.
That is bullshit. He couldn't avoid it;. He was run into the goaltender. The question is could have avoided being in the crease before that. That's the right call.
Contact was minimal. Cataford could have avoided crashing into Hrabal if he wanted to. You're responsible for your own actions.
The fact that he felt the need to challenge that play kinda reveals how desperate Cameron is already.
You are right. And this being the IIHF makes it an even worse challenge.Even if it was NHL. I don't think there was enough contact to overrule it.
