He initially was very much saying it wasn't then when he saw the replay he flipped to that position.

Well, yeah, a lot of people do that.

He's also watching from the press box and not between the benches, so the angle can make things look differently.

I’d like to see diving and embellishment as two separate penalties. Dive is only if no offending penalty occurred and embellishment if you embellish an actual call.
