Last year's team was much better and still an easy early exit.

Hockey Canada seems determined to change as little as possible and keeps being surprised with the lackluster results.

After careful consideration I've come to the painful conclusion that Canada just isn't a very good hockey team.

Gold medal? Not a chance.
A birth in the semis? Highly, highly unlikely.
Winning the consolation game? Maybe.

Fortunately those don’t exist anymore. No more 98 vs Kazakhstan.
