I think there should always be an asterisk on a tournament that someone else than Canada wins. They just didn't bring the best coach/roster/management/attitude etc.

Canada is the winner, if not its a fluke.

Thats just absurd, no Canadian is saying anything to that affect or that we are losing because of selection of the team. We are just saying it was a poor selection of the team and hubris from management.

Player doesn't need to be injured in IIHF rules. The NHL and IIHF have different standards, and this one met the standard, though it was close.
