Who gives a crap if he's good in NLA? I can now go on the NHL board and claim that Shipachev is a great player who just chose the wrong team to go to in the NHL but that doesn't matter. He failed and run back to Russia, he's not good enough, that's all everyone knows. End of story. You gotta execute on the highest of levels and if you can't then you're not good.
Really? Both seemed like stick jolts into the mid-section.
Lol not at the level of a world championship in a playoff game. That has nothing to do with this. Every beer leaguer can hit an almost empty net from inside the slot.
So what does missing an open net have to do with? That has nothing to do with this. Every beer leaguer can hit an almost empty net from inside the slot.
1 open net miss = bad playerWho gives a crap if he's good in NLA? So, back to the real question, how is that called in the rulebook? Because there is no call worded as "lightly placing his stick in to a guys stomach area".The other was a player lightly placing his stick in to a guys stomach area

In order to prove yourself as a good player you have to convert on your chances against a top competition. Everything else is puuure BS.1 open net miss = bad player

Nobody says he's a bad player. But every time somebody misses an open net, it's the question of skill. What are you even arguing about? If Steve Stamkos misses a goal from two meters it's still him having not being skilled enough in that particular situation. Doesn't mean he's a bad player. Jesus.1 open net miss = bad player
1 play is more relevant than the rest of his careerIn order to prove yourself as a good player you have to convert on your chances against a top competition. Everything else is puuure BS.
Should have been a 5'. Refs haven't helped us in this game...but we can't complain. We killed ourselves with that stupid too many men we took early in the 2nd. That was the beginning of the end.
Well that’s not what he’s saying. By his logic Stamkos wouldn’t truly be a good player if he missed.Nobody says he's a bad player. You act like his whole career is multiple time Conn Smythe winner. I can find a lot of "good players" by your standard. They are in fact not good though.1 play is more relevant than the rest of his career
That and the PP was missing today.
Stamkos had already earned the benefit of the doubt a long time ago as a premiere goal scorer in the best league. Lol way to twist my words.Well that’s not what he’s saying. By his logic Stamkos wouldn’t truly be a good player if he missed.
