Absolutely. This was supposed to be a historically great side, and IMO this is the biggest failure since Canada at Ufa 2012 (lockout year with RNH and Schiefele).

Glad Finland won, here's hoping for a Czech upset of Sweden, and an eventual Canada v Finland Gold medal game which would be loads of fun for all involved.

I ALWAYS expect a team full of finnish league players to win against a team full of NCAA kids. I dont follow the draft positions as I really dont follow the NHL that much anymore so that is irrelevant. Finnish league >>>>NCAA. Period. If the US kids could play at AHL level at that age it would be a different story.

what Wahlstrom did was dirty and unacceptable. And I’m an islanders fan and one of Wally’s biggest supporters.
