Yeah lol, I post too much so sometimes I forgot what I said. The believing thing was mostly a pre tournament thing anyway. Not even Finns believed for Finland after we saw how this team played and how it was coached.

As we say in Western Canada, you can’t measure the heart and soul of a team willing to fight when it matters most.

We can blame the coaches as much as we want, do the players need to step up sure. But the coaching for the US has been abysmal all tournament

But in all honesty, I see OT all over this game.

Realistically when there are only 5 major gold medal contenders, all the big 5 start to develop rivalries with each other and it's inevitable there are going to be refs from rival nations in almost every game between them.

Finland is playing great defensively, they don't leave a lot of place for USA to get on the inside and they do a good job of cutting cross-ice passes.

Sandelin will be an NHL coach before too long. Maybe he's not great at bringing together a team in a few weeks, but he's by far the best college coach right now and one of the top 2 or 3 most likely to next make the jump.
