Setup a beauty goal on our powerplay.. right to the Swede for an empty net. Funny, cause we allowed a goal like that against Canada too. Although, not Malik's fault.
 
Disagree with McKenzie... I don't think Dostal looked bad on first goal.

Though remember some time early in the decade I wrote box play several times in a GDT and people asked what the heck I was on about haha
 
If this game was 1-0, Id have all the faith in the world for us to come back. Unfortunetly that 2nd goal is the end for us. I dont understand what Dostal was thinking....

It's easy to criticise from the couch, but I felt like he could have lept with his glove to try and block the rebound. But again, I'm only judging from the couch.

That part I agree with.. but that was a Swede teeing up on him from a couple metres away. Most goalies would've let the first shot in.
 
So disappointed of Dostal. First goal - a rebound allowed. Second goal - no comment needed. I was hoping he can be our cornerstone, but he is the weak spot instead. You cannot beat such strong team like Sweden with such sloppy goalie.

Alright.. I've broken a few things and have calmed down.... a little.

Establish some 5 on 5 tempo

The big problem for the Czech team now is, they own the problem. They can't continue to set up the 1-3-1 smothering sack system in the neutral zone and hope for counterattacks. If Sweden played smart, they would just dump the puck back to the Czechs and do the same thing back.

Fortunately for our entertainment, I don't think Sweden will do that, they will continue to attack.
