Just because a player is drafted doesn’t mean his coach rates him. This is lost on a lot of people. Sometimes the coach just doesn’t think X is better than Y.
Also the draft rank is projecting who will be the best, not who already is.

edit. Draft rank is tricky and arbitrary, combo of potential and current ability.
