Kopitar is 6-3 220 legit, when you see Vilardi stand next to him you realize Gabe is 6-1 200. Gabe is unphysical and gets injured if you breathe on him too briskly.
Villardi has played every game this season so far and he's just 25yrs old, a few seasons of some bad injury luck is hardly that big of an issue with the potential he has shown and realized so far.

There was a time where a stiff enough fart towards Fiala put him on the IR, doesn't mean that was his norm the rest of his career. Also, Arvidsson was far worse for that sort of thing, still is.

Kopitar is older than Methuselah and Danault can’t score. It’s definitely time to trade the young C
Makes about as much sense as trading EP at his lowest value cementing a rebuild and pissing off Quinn only to experience what Sabres fans are going through with Jack and Sam.

People get insanely stupid around the TDL .

I wouldn't say breaking out. He's been less productive this season than last but with 2 more minutes of ice time.
Byfield was played with Foegele & Jeannot for most of the season. His points shocking took a hit. When Byfield is placed with skilled players he starts popping. Unfortunately, the King's coach doesn't like when players get creative & has said as much in interviews recently. Being a Philly fan I'm sure you understand about creativity destroying coaches.

You're just saying that because of the time Lizotte roughed him up & put Vilardi on the IR.
😂

I don't think the Flames have the horses (Blasties?) to get this done, assuming Byfield is even on the table.

That being said this is one of the few guys I would love to see the Flames chase full heartedly. Building around a core of Byfield, Parekh, and Wolf actually sounds viable compared to whatever motely crew of spare part the Flames usually ice.

Apparently people havent noticed, but Byfield is the Kings #1 C right now. He has been leading all forwards in minutes for the past couple of weeks, and his deployment with Fiala is really clicking. We are (FINALLY) watching the changing of the guard from Kopi to Quentin.
What possible reason would LA have to trade him now, short of some ridiculous offer that will never be made?
