I hope Henrique and Ennis fight next game. Always cool to see players take on roles they don't usually take on.
Henrique is a fairly gritty player I don't think Ennis wants any part of him.

Kaleta is in Henrique's weight class but I don't think it would be in his or New Jersey's best interest to fight.

The Good: overall edge to the game setting up an interesting re-match on Thursday

The Bad: Myers looking beyond lost at times, again. We all hope he can still be a Norris candidate some day. Has any Norris candidate ever looked this consistently bad at any point in his career?

The Ugly: Kovalchuk's high pitched yelp you could clearly hear when Regehr knocked him down, and the way he acted like he was shot by a hunting rifle.

I can't stand that guy.

Hopefully he gets knocked around some more on Thursday. :yo:

good- we won again :D

bad- Ennis, Myers and Hodgson defensively

ugly- Regerh and Ennis cheap shots.

Please enlighten me on the bad defense by Ennis and hodgson. I agree on Myers but where does Ennis and coho just randomly appear.

G-Ott & Kaleta again...
-Hogdson to Poms
-our PK
-Kaleta and Ott getting under the devil's skin

B-Stafford's drive as far as he can to the boards-stop!-give it away move...seriously GTF outta here...
-Henrique
-Foligno letting that boarding on Ennis happen without even batting an eye...
-geez another backup that we cant beat straight up...
-Ehrhoff...I hate to say it but he was bad.

U- Our PP
-The refs...very terrible in both directions
-really thought Foligno would rise up and make a difference after being benched...throw your mits and score! we know u can hit!
-winning somehow without vanek...boy it was ugly
-the entire team pushing clarkson and doing nothing...had we not won he'd be dancing in circles for playing his game well.

I like the simpler style of play, keep it close and hope for Miller to be difference. I also like AHL players beng up fr the fact it is keeping the other guys honest. They know they'll sit.
But you can't win with a PP like that, not very often. There's just no excuse for it. The 4-3 in OT has got to be better. You need a win right there.

There is really no excuse for us to have the worst PP in the league, at first I chalked it off to us not having the right players for the PP, but there are plenty of other teams around the league that lack creative players as well and are doing fine on the PP.
