Of course.Ok so I joined the World Hockey Manager league. This is addictive.
I'm FIC Wolfpack.
Did people choose the Nashville Predators as their favorite team?
I had that problem when I was first on my pre-diabetes diet. I just wasn't eating enough calories because I was completely avoiding potatoes, rice, bread (you know, the good stuff) and anything made from wheat. So I added in a little---but I can tell that now I need to go the other direction--it's all about finding that balance.Ok, download a fitness ap and monitored my diet. Well crap, no wonder my grades at college have been ****. I have been averaging 500 calories below my minimum while walking 6 miles a day with a 60 lb backback. My legs feel like rubberbands. Doesn't help the MS.
To give you a hite, I ate a double hamburger with bacon, a fried egg, and had a coke and I was STILL under my minimum for calories and protein.

Dude, I hope this isn't anything close to a regular part of your diet. That is really bad. If you are trying to make up your calorie deficiency with stuff like that you are going to further sap your energy. You need to be eating lean protein and vegetables, your body has no use for cheeseburgers and coke.Ok, download a fitness ap and monitored my diet. I don't know if you like Salmon, quinoa or peanut butter but that's what I use to add calories. For dessert something like greek yogurt with raisins. Salmon is perfect because it's extremely high protein but its also way more calorie dense than you'd think. It's got a good amount of healthy fats too. I know some don't like fish but I put a light glaze on it with some lemon and red pepper and it's amazing.Oh no. I am leaning more and more towards a more balanced diet. That was a 'OK, I've only eaten 800 calories and 30 grams of protein' reaction.
Also my cholesterol, BP, and A1C is perfect during every blood test.

I like canned salmon better than fresh (not sure if that's a factor here) but I always have a can in my bag in case the hungries strike at work. I eat it in my office so no one complains too much, but I pay them and I'm part boss so they've learned not to complain too much about anything I do anyway.I don't know if you like Salmon, quinoa or peanut butter but that's what I use to add calories. Have you tried greek yogurt? The texture isn't for everyone. I eat it plain (I love all things sour, I know I'm weird) but you can throw raisins, dates, pecans or walnuts on top of it if you'd like.I like canned salmon better than fresh (not sure if that's a factor here) but I always have a can in my bag in case the hungries strike at work. I wish I could get into plain yogurt. I just don't like it unless there's some flavor, and by flavor I mean incorporated into the yogurt, not just on top of it. I wonder if it would be okay to add vanilla flavoring? I don't want or need the sugar, just the flavor!
Now I want to get a cheese curd covered bacon burger.
You know what's weird, I can sit and eat a spoonful of sour cream, no problem, and I could eat plain yogurt as a substitute on a potato or something, drink buttermilk or even sip on fresh lemon juice or vinegar so sour isn't the problem. But if I'm eating "yogurt" as "yogurt" i.e. the next best thing to what I really want (pudding) I want it to have flavor. I have tried Greek yogurt. It's okay. I prefer full cream top Stonybrook vanilla or strawberry, or the late lamented Yoplait custard in ANY flavor. But then I look at the sugar content and talk myself out of it. Ha ha! I'm sure there's something you enjoy that I gross out over. My disgust with anything Spaghetti-O's like is pretty well documented.
In other news, losing makes me really really grumpy. >:-C
That's not how this works. ;-) You're supposed to cut your soda AND the milkshakes AND the french toast muffin out. You can have kale and blueberries. Probably.Cut my soda 60% for the week and rewarding myself with a reese's pieces milkshake and french toast muffin.
Also playing world Hockey Manager and about to cut a vet for the 16 year old phenom who is already better than him.
