We'll be at work and everyone will get an extended break to go outside and be part of it. We'll provide eclipse glasses while also serving RC and moon pies.

100% totality at our location.

Sounds like it. I did not know you are supposed to enjoy diabetes with an eclipse.

I convinced my 83 year old mother that yes, she NEEDED to come to Nashville to see a total eclipse rather than the 96% one she'd see in Alabama so she, my sister and PF98 will be joining me to watch.

Yes! Party time!!

Anyone know of good deals on Sunday Ticket? I just canceled because all I want is Red Zone. Seems that is no longer a standalone option and I have no interest in paying almost $200 for one channel.

just an FYI, the poster Carolinas Identity suffered an assault a couple of days ago and is in pretty rough shape. There is a thread on the canes board if anyone wants to leave any encouragements

So you're better? Or at least alive. That picture of you looked more like Grumpy Cat than a pink fluffy unicorn.

And out of jail?

Yay!

What did you DO????

Some drunk guy I had never met before randomly got super aggro on me last Tuesday. I ignored him all nite, but he jumped me after I left. Wound up looking the the pics that have been going around and also a broken ankle that needed two surgeries to fix.

I just got home a few hours ago from the hospital, swelling is slowly getting better but I won't be able to walk w/o crutches for another 2-3 weeks.

Sounds like it's good you're able to walk at all!

Heal up and get better. Is your work giving you some time off to recuperate?

Yeah I got time off, tho it's mildly amusing they needed an extended leave note from the Dr.

Like the huge ass cast and crutches weren't proof enough

Documentation. In case they get sued by someone else for refusing them time off. It's all the paperwork. Sorry to hear about your injuries.

Good to know.

We've had 2 incidents where the person had to be off long term--one for an accident, one for her husband's illness. I kept up with it in their files and they were paid even during their LOA, but I never thought to have them bring me "proof" from the doctors. I had seen the results, knew first hand and all, but if they'd sued it would be their word against mine I guess.
