Agreed, but unless you're expecting two goals each from their respective replacements, I fail to see how it's a factor in tonight's game.

Well, that pairing is directly responsible for the first one, and it was a 2-0 game when the comments were made.

It seems silly to say we can’t call out players playing bad when we’re losing because not a single one of their mistakes is gonna make up 3 goals in a 4-1 game. Top line not producing? “Well, unless you expect a top line to make up 3 goals every game I don’t see how it’s a factor.” Mrazek letting up 4 goals? “Well, we’ve given him one goal of support what is he supposed to do?” Etc.

I’m in favor of you calling out the GDTs on some of their BS (the refs have been fine and usually are), but to say we can’t criticize players playing bad because “what are they supposed to make up the lead themselves” is overcorrection.

Martin Necas slides awkwardly into the end boards, and he's in some pain as he skates back to the bench. He missed a handful of games at the start of the month with a lower-body injury, but it's a good sign that he's still on the bench right now.
