"Sycho" Sid Vicious passes away

Some people prefer to fight those battles quietly. His terrible leg injury is one of the first thoughts that come to mind when thinking of Psycho Sid along with his crazy eyes/face and water/sweat on his face and/or hair as he was frantically turning his head in different directions.

Since you mentioned the HOF... The concept of the WWE HOF is a little weird when a scripted sport has people deciding who should be in the HOF and when they should go in the HOF with no rhyme or reason behind their decision. Some wrestlers greatly appreciate being added to the HOF and others aren't as concerned or could care less and I have no idea where on the spectrum Sid fell.

That said, if HHH or anyone that is able to make HOF decisions or pitches was aware that Sid was battling cancer for years and felt he was worthy of the HOF then he should have been inducted while he was alive. Inducting someone after they pass away when they were fighting a lengthy illness is bullshit. Some pass suddenly and it's out of your control but in a way I hope Sid was one of those that felt it didn't matter if he was in the HOF or not or is never inducted so he didn't miss out on the potential honour.

he was pushing for it recently, I know some guys have been "blacklisted" due to taking part in concussion lawsuits against WWE, not sure if Sid was a part of that group or not

When people mention him they bring up the negative like the scissor incident, his unreliability, quitting multiple times to play softball. The most watched clips of him are breaking his leg and his promo botches like "we're live pal", "I have half the brain that you do" or "WHY ME WHY". But it obscures how over the dude was during his prime. Goes to show that if you have intensity and believability and buy into your gimmick, you don't have to be a wordsmith to give a convincing promo.

Survivor Series 1996, that crowd absolutely loved him and cheered for him over the appointed Babyface HBK. In 1992 Sid Justice probably could've been a huge, huge star if they booked the Hogan shit better (and didn't botch the finish of WM8).

There's a lot of what-ifs around his career, his own behavior and outside forces seemed to be glass ceilings for him, but all I know is that Sid was f***ing awesome.

Rest well to the master and the ruler, of the world.

I've said this here before, but I'm sure there was a time when I was a kid that when Sid told me he was the master and ruler of the world, I believed him. Like we had Presidents and Prime Ministers, and above them all sat Sid Vicious/Justice. (I never liked the Sycho Sid name).

As far as believability goes, he was Brock Lesnar before there was Brock Lesnar. The absolute definition in what you want as a monster heel. Legit scary.

Never really reached his true potential with him coming and going all the time to squeeze in softball season. Should already be in the Hall-of-Fame. It's kinda forgotten he closed out two Mania's. (8 and 13) while having a part to play in the 2nd last match at 11.

RIP Mr. Eudy.

The guy was pretty poor in the ring and yet, was insanely over.

He bought into his gimmick 100%, worked to look believable and was intimidating as f***.

The master and ruler of the world.

RIP Big Man. Putting the avatar up for respect.

Team Madness going out of their mans somewhere tonight...

Main evented in Mania 8 and 13. None of he was planned to be in.

But a very underrated big man that agreed should have been in the HOF ages ago.

RIP Sid
