This reminds me of that Columbus - Nashville game a few years ago. (The one where Jeff Cancer scored two goals)

Good, don't let it get to their heads and give the fans who went a game to watch.

Caught only the last 10 minutes of the game. Karlsson had a 4 point game. Any chance he makes the big club? If it's between Rychel and him for a final spot, who gets it? How was Boll? CMAC allowed 4 goals, was he bad or bad breaks(I heard announcers say some Buf goals were off deflections and I know the last goal was from a bad play). Oh and thoughts on HArtikainnen?
thanks

Everyone looked good in the first 2 periods. Everyone looked bad in the 3rd. Karlsson and Bjork seemed to have some mojo. Rychel didn't really stand out to me, but I think he will get a spot on the club over Bill. I am still concerned about Curtis even though the D in front of him wasn't exactly NHL-caliber and did nothing to help him out in the 3rd.

Hannikainen had a nice goal and, again, looked good in the first half of the game but disappeared late (just like everyone else).

Biggest dud of the night for me was Milano. Got pushed around a lot and looked panicked with the puck.

Just my guesses, but I think it would be positional between Karlsson (the centre) and Rychel (the wing). I also imagine the club wouldn't add Rychel unless they'd be sure to give him ice time. Karlsson doesn't have the pedigree so he's more likely to be used sparingly. Boll was very good, just like in last year's pre-season. Hannikainen (not Teemu Hartikainen!) was good, he played a power forward game.

I agree Milano didn't look good. He's gotten heavier, so at least he's not getting ragdolled, but doesn't seem to know how to use his body yet.

I also thought Kukan was probably the best D out there. Maybe not strong enough in his own end, but great in transition. I'd be pleased to give him a shot over Connauton, who isn't very strong or good in transition. Really if we don't have a powerplay vacancy for Connauton (we don't) he isn't worth a whole lot to us.
