Watched the highlights and man did our passing look impressive. I am getting giddy about this season.

Hi nice to meet youMy answer is... He can't see in his feet because of the lower jaw area on his "cage".

Flipped back & forth with the OSU game but wanted to share some observations;
1. Yea, the Pens announcers were nails on a chalkboard. They could be worse if they had Rimmer.
2. The fact that this line-up was mostly NHL regulars and the game had a regular/post season feel seemed very positive. This group seems ready to stomp on the gas on October 9th.
3. I know its early, but Wennberg looks like he will avoid the sophomore slump. Maybe the first 40 games of last year will pay off this year.
4. That CBJ owned first period shots 14-1 and was 18-1 when the major penalty ended was impressive. We just need to tap the brakes a bit - its still pre-season.
5. Does anybody else here get the feeling there are too many eggs in the Crosby/Kessel basket? One injury/flu bug/measles/accident and that team seems like they could be very thin. Trick pony = 1.
6. I get the feeling Bob will go long stretches with solid play/good health this year. What I have seen/heard/read just sounds positive - (again, tapping brakes)
7. Is anybody concerned that the CBJ was built exclusively for a 60 minute game and will not be able to keep up 3-on-3? Big and hulking is fine at even strength and on special teams - just wondering if we could match a fast/skilled line in extra time.
8. Speaking of 3-on-3 does anybody know if there will be a segregation of goalie stats for the 3-3 OT? If not, I could see overall GAA go down this year.

Not anymore than any other year. I think their offense is very talented and deep. Their defense might be more worrisome if Kris Letang goes down.
I thought Wild Bill played extremely well.

I try not to get to high/low about preseason, but before the game I was a little "concerned" about the fact that we didn't score the first game vs. Pitt and got beat handidly by ST. L & Minn in 2 of our other games, but I'm all giddy after this performance.
