Not sure what everyone's worried about. They obviously suck on the road and will DOMINATE at home. So they'll only be 0-9-0 before the winning begins. Whether this board is still online by that point is the question.....
 
Sorry, kids, but it doesn't matter how hard you work or how good you look cuz AV has to give out those roster spots to Richards, Boyle, Pyatt, Powe, Moore, Pouliot, and Asham, and there's just no room.
 
Kings missing: Dustin Brown

Rangers missing: Stepan, Callahan, Hagelin, Brassard, Zuccarello, Staal, McDonagh, Girardi

Let's step off the ledge people.
 
I didn't really get the Falk trade when they made it, but I never imagined he'd be this awful. Just an utterly useless player based on the games so far. It boggles the mind this guy has an NHL job while proven players had to take PTOs or huge pay cuts to stay in the league.

Also, not a single fight or noticeable hitting for a guy who's supposed to bring an element of toughness to this defense.
 
The team isn't focused. The team isn't committed. There are some iffy plays from the "bad kids" that are entirely them trying to score a goal and make the team. Miller plays the right way and does the right things. He's staying composed and doesn't get out of line.

Bickel, Falk especially are just doing whatever the **** they want to impress the coach. The roughing, the "big hit" during a PK, the 3 shots into traffic from the point when there are passes to be made and an entire side of the ice that's actually open.

Game ended at 1AM EST last night. After the game, they got on a flight and came to Vegas from vancouver. That's a 3 hour flight. So being nice, they got on the plane at 2 am EST/11PM PST, arrived in Vegas at 5am EST/2am PST, then they get to the hotel and pass out maybe at the earliest, 6am est/3 am pst.

I'd be ****ing tired too.

Every single year we see this. Rangers are a popular team so they get flown around the world, put smiles on saying it's team building, but really they get exhausted and start the season slowly.

They'll be fine, but it's not easy playing 4 games in 5 nights, let alone when those games are all over the western part of the united states.

AGain, you and other posters need to reserve judgement until, you know, the games count.

Kreider has really used his body well so far he just ahnst gotten a real scoring chnace yet. I know the popular thing is to bash him but i feel he has been good so far hopefully he scores a goal
 
I'd worry less about the rosters if Lundqvist hadn't given up 8 goals in the last 3 periods.
