Very informative final game. Howden is a mixed bag but Quinn liked him plenty. A lot of improvements available. Smith is a serviceable player at either positions forgetting about his cap hit. Nieves and Lettieri should be permanently stuck in the AHL from now on. Is Morrow on a contract? Vitali looks like he needs some time playing NHL style hockey but his attitude is right so maybe Quinn keeps him up. Vlad looks like he's worth $4M this year. Let Fil figure it out. He's going to be a temperamental player his entire career I feel.
 
still won't be surprised if he goes back to finland but would really love to see Tarmo stick around in hartford a bit to see if a spot opens up via injury. I think hajek has earned the 3LD spot to start but tarmo is right there.

There’s no way I’d let him go back. He has nothing to prove there. Play in the top 4 of Hartford and start getting acclimated. Has a bright nhl future
 
Outside of maybe 2 shifts, Howden has not impressed me in the least.
My toss up is probably between him and Kravstov being sent down.

I don't think its the rangers option to not let him. they have to convince him to stay but its his call whether or not to kick in the clause...

big question is with him, lindgren and rykov what are the pairs in hartford gonna be

Like it's not even close.
That said.. Do you keep him at the expense of one of the kids?

He’ll probably be ‘kept’ in the sense that he’ll be a healthy scratch most nights...at least I hope so
 
Rykov isn’t even healthy and if he’s a high ankle sprain it may be a while stay here get mins move guys around to get him the mins. I see zero reason to go to Finland and play in that league. Nothing to prove there

Wouldn't want our kids in that role anyway. Rather them get 20 minutes elsewhere than 8 minutes here.
 
I can see 72 and 74 in Hartford and smith playing right away on the 4th line. Wouldn’t shock me.
