It'll certainly help him learn the game and better decision making and is a better place to make those mistakes.

Oh and at the beginning of the 5 on 3 carrying the puck up the ice Buchnevich has Zibanejad breaking in behind the defense all alone and could’ve hit him for a mini breakaway or a Kreider special tap in but in instead he dumped it off in favor of setting up the 5 on 3. Not sure how he didn’t see Zib breaking there.

Just size? how bout adding he’s a night and day better skater than Lias it makes world of. Difference.

Lias looked great in his first preseason game last year too because it was like this year mostly against non nhlers or guys going 50 percent. As soon as they ramp up their speed he can’t.

Regarding Kravtsov he really looks like he should start in the A.

Fox is a pro love this kid.

Hank looks good. As doesn’t skjei today.

Mika looks great his linemates ehh right now.

He needs a few games to learn what he can do in the NHL. He'll do very well, doesn't look out of place at all so far.

Hot take but I stand by it: there is no team in pro sports worse at any one thing than the Rangers are at 5 on 3's.
 
Fox looks great.
Skjei looked good.

Top-6 will be a lot more harmonious when KZB gets reunited and Panarin is gonna be dynamite with Kakko.

Yeah I mean I guess Howdy is a better skater too but he’s not very efficient, seems he’s constantly out of position particularly on the rush and back check situations. This is an issue going back to last season. I’m just pretty underwhelmed with him so far. Not giving up on him or anything like that I just feel like I’m seeing most of the same issue with him I saw last season after his hot start.

A little skittish with his decisions. Looks like he doesn't want much to do with scrums. Doesn't look scared or anything, just a little too rushed.

Fox is a stud. My expectations were already fairly high but he has exceeded them greatly

I doubt they could have known that before the pre season started, and 1st line with Panarin& Zib shelters Kakko a lot better than playing quality lines with a ????????? C.

I'd bet Kakko outscored Buch on 1st line if given a shot. Higher skill level.

Buchnevich has played with Zibanejad for like half of each of the last 2 years.
