if McIrath is ready, which he didnt look out of place out there, beside pinching when he shouldnt have.. we could use him as 6th dman.. we need that crease clearing dman to round out our 6

We have 6 men with Girardi, McDonagh, Staal, Del Zotto, Moore and Stralman.

As with everyone else, very happy with what I've seen from Fast and Lindberg so far. McIlrath made some boneheaded reads and pinches, but despite that I actually like what I'm seeing from him - maybe because my expectations were unreasonably low... was expecting him to look a bit more lost than he has so far.

Thought he made a few decent plays; was going to say something about him but decided to hold back since I want to see more. He was also out there for a shift or two when they got pinned in their own end though.

Syvret is not a top4 D but I wouldn't mind seeing him for a couple of games if injuries strike.
