This team needs to start games better. That's twice in a row where they don't look ready to play. Can't have that in the regular season.
I have been watching this team for 32 years, and the only season where this WASN'T a thing, they won the Stanley f***ing Cup.

Lettieri didn't give me any reason to believe that he's an NHL player last year. He needs to improve a lot to be on this team long term.

Ya, last year was basically his latitude. Every game is on the clock for him this year.

Chad 2 looks great so far. Larger and less lanky.

Great shift by Chytil. That’s the stuff barzal does. Just goes for a skate and sets guys up. Love that ability Chytil has it

I'll continue making fun of Hughes but I've always said he's better than Kakko and I can't believe so many people on here were saying they'd rather have Kakko than him lol
It's f***ing preseason and you're here announcing who's better

I mean I don't have any clue which one will be the better player, but it's good that you already know.

Think Chytil changed stick. He used to use CCM rib core I believe, he’s using a Bauer Nexus.

Maybe just trying it out. Stick looks longer too, could be different lie. He was controling the puck further from his body.

Vladislav Namestikov still snake bitten after 5 months off.

This is not a good start for Brett Howden. It feels like could be on the bubble doesn’t it?

Let's let them play a few seasons before deciding who's better, shall we?

When I say I've always said he's better than him I obvs mean a better prospect based on what we've seen so far I'm not saying he'll have the better career, nobody knows. But don't deny if Kakko had 3 goals 3 periods & 30 seconds into the preseason and Hughes had 1 secondary assist; a lot of Rangers fans would be saying see Kakko is used to playing against men etcetcetc, I think those of us saying Kakko is so much more ready than Hughes will be eating crow.

In my opinion, Hughes is actually is more NHL ready and Kakko is the higher ceiling/higher risk prospect. I could see Kakko coming out of the gate slow, just because he's bigger doesn't mean he's further into his development or closer to his ceiling than Hughes
