Has he played 1 AHL game ? He’s made some bad plays for sure but Dmen commonly need time

It's not about that. I didn't think he was that great in junior two years ago when everyone else was going gaga and then last season I thought he totally regressed, stagnated at best. I'm not saying he's bad--maybe a 5 if everything breaks right--but he's not this future second pair two-way stalwart a lot of people made him out to be.
