my best memory of D. Moore was his behind the net game tying goal vs Florida a few years back. I really would love to see the puck luck that tam had come back to this team.

Pardon my ignorance, but can someone explain why the announcers were saying it has to feel good for moore to score? I don't know anything about him/his situation.

Wife got sick (cancer), quit hockey to take care of her, wife died, back to hockey and signed by the Rangers. Went through a tough period, same as Taylor Pyatt, by the way.

Pyatt also lost his wife but I think that was a car accident.

I don't believe Taylor took off an entire season, but i could be mistaken.

Moore was offered a contract at the beginning of last year by the Rangers, after his wife had passed, but he decided to sit out the whole year.

Ranger clears in the D zone are way too aimless and dangerous. The Rangers in D zone are way too panicky with the puck.

Rangers are also way too soft on their passes whether dishing or receiving. The guys like to do too many backhands or chip passes.

I know, Pyatt didn't quit hockey, but he did sit out a couple of weeks. Whole different situation of course, since Moore was preparing for the worst and had to take care of his ill wife.
